Hello! I'm Sister Elizabeth, your Technology Education Teacher ...

Our Lady of Guadalupe is a great school and the students are outstanding. I really enjoy teaching at Our Lady of Guadalupe. In addition to teaching technology, I am the Graduate Support Coordinator for the school. This means I am able to work on behalf of our wonderful graduates. For me this work is blessing and joy.

I am a Catholic Sister and member of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, one of the four religious congregations  that sponsors Our Lady of Guadalupe Middle School. The IHM Motherhouse is located in Monroe, Michigan.

By way of background, I was baptized at Holy Redeemer Church and grew up in Southwest Detroit. Also, I have worked in Southwest Detroit most of my life..

I earned my BA from Marygrove College and Masters Degree in Political Science from St. Louis University. Also, I am a certified school administrator. Presently I am working on a Masters Degree in Social Justice at Marygrove College.

My interest in computers began in 1985. From that time to the present, I have studied computer science, engineering, and emerging technologies. I am a computer programmer in C and C++, C#, and Visual Basic languages. In addition, I a certified teacher in Information Technology. Past, present, and emerging computer technologies are among my MOST  favorite areas of study.
